In
1997 German Shepherd Dog named Mundo (Planet Earth in Spanish) developed severe allergies
to cleaning products (carpet powder). After many vets
and helpless months later, Mundo's condition worsened.
Motivated
by determination and driven by the vision to heal Mundo,
Sevi started concocting healing potions and soaps made
with 100% organic and botanical ingredients in a tiny
NY apartment.
Word
got out, people with dogs just like Mundo whom needed
help started asking questions. November of 1998 a noncommercial
site named cybercanine.com went up in order to reach
out other Mundos out there that may need help. An educational
site quickly turned into something not expected due
to overwhelming response and requests, thus giving us
the extra paw to start our own tiny earth-friendly company.
Official company formed in 2000 and we became known
as Mundo, L.L.C
Soon,
people started to use Mundo's earth friendly products
on themselves - then came the requests -- sls free hair
care, paraben free skincare, gentle bath products, vegan
lip products...
2001
Mundo added a botanical skincare division and in 2003
a vegan mineral makeup line. In 2004 we decided to change
our official company name from Mundo, L.L.C to Mundo
Botanica, L.L.C to better envelope all that we do at
Mundo.
Today
Mundo's earth loving team with a united goal, proudly
formulates, manufactures, packages and shares Mundo's
organic, vegan and cruelty free products with the rest
of the world. Mundo Botanica, always handcrafted, honest
and always earth & animal friendly.
We
