Organic Lemongrass

This is my first year of planting Lemongrass. I tore open my organic seed envelope and planted them with much care.

I peaked at them every morning and told all my little seedlings that it was all right to come out and that life around here was pretty good. It took my Lemongrass about 2 weeks to feel ready and one morning, there they were.

I still visit them every morning and rub my fingers through them gently -- they do greet me and let me walk away with a faint lemon aroma on my fingertips.

The picture you see was taken when they were about 4 weeks old. I had just watered them a bit, you can see the droplets hopping around on them.
